Manicure Course

If you want to make a successful career in the beauty industry, you can join some courses that we offer. Our courses enable you to carry out beauty treatments to a professional level. If you want to specialise in hand and nail care you can choose from the manicure, pedicure and Gel Polish courses that we offer.

The syllabus for our manicure course includes:

  • Health hygiene and safety
  • Basic anatomy and physiology
  • Implements and products
  • Preparation of room, trolley and client
  • Contra-indications or contra-actions
  • Consultations or record cards
  • Benefits of manicure

In this course you will also learn:

  • Massage movements
  • Massage of the hand and arm
  • Aftercare advice
  • Practical tuition in manicure including filing, buffing, cuticle work, and the application of polish

Approximate time: 10:30 am – 2.30pm.

Pedicure Course

Our pedicure training syllabus includes:

  • Health hygiene and safety
  • Basic anatomy and physiology
  • Implements and products
  • Preparation of room, trolley and client
  • Contra-indications or contra-actions
  • Consultations or record cards
  • Benefits of pedicure

You will also learn:

  • Massage movements
  • Practical tuition in pedicure:- filing, cuticle work, callous removal, and the application of polish
  • Massage of the foot and lower leg
  • Aftercare advice

Approximate time: 10:30 am – 2.30pm.
Cost: £95

On completion you will earn The Beauty & Holistic Academy in-house certificate
